This is a unique programme to recruit young people aged 16 plus based on their attitude and potential rather than experience or qualifications.
What skills will you need?
We believe it is attitude and potential that makes our Apprentices successful. There are not any entry requirements to start the scheme, but it is important that the people who work for Barclays:
- Are committed to delivering outstanding customer service
- Have a can do attitude
- Are able to communicate well with a wide variety of people
- Can work on their own initiative
- Are motivated and willing to put in effort to develop the skills the business needs
- Enjoy working as a team
- Are organised and can manage their work
