Our Apprenticeship pathways

Deciding on your future career path is a big decision, so seek as much career information and guidance as you can before you apply.
Whichever of our Schemes you join, you'll earn recognised qualifications along the way. But more importantly you'll also gain valuable, practical experience with two of the World's greatest brands. You can help fuel our success within one of the following Apprenticeship pathways:

Our Advanced Apprenticeship pathways

  • Automotive pathway
Working at the forefront of vehicle technology, you’ll support test developments to existing models or help build entirely new experimental concepts.
  • Maintenance pathway
Keeping our manufacturing operation running as smoothly as possible, you’ll carry out preventative maintenance, diagnose faults and develop your problem solving on some truly cutting-edge equipment.
  • Manufacturing Support pathway
In this area, you’ll work to improve our manufacturing techniques and processes – helping us deliver the highest quality end products.
  • Tool room / Model Factory pathway
Combining traditional hand-skills with the latest technology, you’ll help maintain or develop some of our most innovative product developments.

Higher Apprenticeship pathways

  • Production Supervision pathway
While you complete your degree, you’ll be growing your practical engineering know-how and developing your supervisory skills to ensure your team deliver high quality products within a fast-paced and cost-conscious manufacturing environment.
  • Finance pathway
You’ll develop a core understanding of engineering in addition to financial and analytical skills which will be put to use in our Engineering Cost Estimation department. Business Acumen is key in this area, so in addition to completing your degree, you will be exposed to several business functions as part of your development.
  • Purchasing pathway
You’ll build your experience by solving supplier technical issues on our Manufacturing sites, alongside developing technical knowledge whilst studying for your degree. Your further development will include visiting suppliers to help them grow their lean manufacturing techniques and quality approach.
